Soft Scrub Advanced Surface Review and Giveaway

My husband had fun trying out Soft Scrub's new Advanced Surface cleaner and surprised me with a clean stove when I woke up the other morning! Our stove had grime and grease and cooked-on food all over it as
before

a pot had overflown. Usually I keep it pretty clean, but during this time I was on bed rest and was unable to clean it so it got pretty dirty. I am so happy that because of my wonderful husband and Soft Scrub Advanced Surface my stove is now very clean! There are still a few grease spots left as they are seriously cooked on (they were there before we even moved here) but everything that we caused was cleaned up. You can even see your reflection in the stove now; it shines!

Advanced Surface works great for granite, stainless steel, glass countertops and marble surfaces to get rid of tough stains while being gentle enough not to harm any of these special surfaces. The gel pours out clear then you just wipe away the mess with a sponge, cloth or paper towel and your surface is left smooth and spiffy. No need to rinse! Soft Scrub Advanced Surface is a great product to clean your special surfaces quickly without ruining them.

Purex Natural Elements Tropical Splash Review and Giveaway

If you love tropical scents with coconut and pineapple and tropical flowers, Purex Natural Elements Tropical Splash detergent is for you! I found the scent delightful, but since I cannot use many citrus scents due to my allergies, my husband tried it out on his uniform. He loved it and even had comments when he went to work and meetings about how great his uniform smelled! The scent really is not overpowering, but it is unique and takes you to a tropical beach. I can see this detergent being perfect for your Hawaiian shirts!

All of the Purex Natural Elements line is hypoallergenic and dye free for those with sensitive skin, so you can enjoy the fun scents without having an allergic reaction to your just-washed clothing. As with all Purex products, Natural Elements works with all washers including high efficiency ones and it has Dirt Lift Action to get the extra dirt out of your clothing, leaving it clean and fresh. Of course, not ALL the dirt will come out with just the detergent, but it does a great job handling the initial clean-up.

You can probably guess from the label Natural Elements that this detergent is more than just hypoallergenic. Actually, it also has a green, biodegradable formula which is safer and more environmentally-friendly!

This detergent comes in 50, 75 and 100oz sizes and you can find a retailer near you here.

Dial Kids Body + Hair Wash Review and Giveaway

My toddler had a fun time testing out the new Dial Kids Body + Hair Wash! He loves bath time so we were able to try this great 2-in-1 product with him. I love that both the body wash and shampoo are together because it saves me so much time. My son really gets into playing during his bath so I
need to be quick to wash him up while I can and sometimes that is very difficult messing with two separate products on him. I also liked how easy the wash was to dispense as sometimes the baby washes can be difficult to open quickly. With Dial Body + Hair he was cleaned up in no time and back to using his imagination!
The wash that we tested was the Tear Free Peachy Clean for ages 2+ and boy does it smell amazing! Even my husband could not stop sniffing our son's hair after his bath. This wash also provided a lot of suds and my very messy little boy was left squeaky clean at the end of bath time. I love that it did not irritate his skin because it is very gentle and he didn't fuss when a little got in his eyes. Dial also has kids Body + Hair wash for ages 6+ in Watery Melon and Berry Cool scents!

Dial's Kids Body + Hair Wash for ages 2+ is meant for those awkward ages, 2-5, when your little one is too big for baby wash but too young for full-strength washes. It would still work great for older kids if your little ones take bath time together, but I highly recommend trying the older body wash for your older kids if you can as it will get them a little cleaner.

As I mentioned earlier, this Body + Hair wash did not bother my little one's skin and that is because it is hypoallergenic with no artificial dyes or added parabens and it is PH balanced so it is gentle! The formula was created along-side of pediatric dermatologists to provide your children with the best possible body wash for their ages.

My whole family really enjoyed trying out Dial's "big boy" body wash and are happy to start saving the baby wash for when the baby comes! Now we can all enjoy the fun part of bath time a little longer!

Enter to win a bottle of Dial Kids Body + Hair wash for your little love!

Jabra Freeway Bluetooth Wireless In-Car Speakerphone Review and Contest

I received the Jabra FREEWAY Bluetooth Wireless In-Car Speakerphone to review this week. I have to be honest, we are not used to it yet. Perhaps it is my husband's voice or something with our contacts and phone sync, but unless all we are saying is "mom" it calls the wrong person. Like I said, we are still getting used to it and hopefully can figure out the tricks before our long drive next week. I know several who love this product so we must be doing something wrong!

I do love that this devices makes things basically hands-free, but you do still have to press the "voice" button before you do anything so if you are trying to skip songs on your phone or cancel a call. We also for the life of us cannot get the device to "end call" just by saying it, we have to press the button. My husband also did not like that, unlike with most Bluetooth devices, you have to say "phone commands" before you can even make a call because it has to initiate the settings on the phone first rather than syncing them at once. I figured out also that you can connect two devices but you have to activate whichever one you want working (this is fine though because I am usually in the passenger seat so I can answer mine no problem because I am not driving.) I do love how easy it is to install and how clear the voice and call quality is though. I also love that you can adjust the volume so it is not as loud when our son is asleep in the back. We have only been using it for a couple days so we still have some learning to do so I am looking forward to when we can figure out the voice commands and re-name some of our contacts that we use frequently so the voice command can understand better!

Be sure to see the bottom of my post and enter the Pinterest contest that ends TODAY, May 9, 2013!

The Jabra FREEWAY Bluetooth Wireless In-Car Speakerphone is a device that works with any Bluetooth-enabled phone. This means that you can go hands-free in the car and still have great sound quality! There are three speakers on the stereo system which creates Virtual Surround sound with no unwanted background noise which makes your call sound quality crisper and clearer.

With most hands-free devices that I have seen, you still need to use your hands to navigate controls until the call starts to go through, however, Jabra FREEWAY allows you to go completely hands-free as it enables you to use your voice for all of the controls--making, answering, ending, redialing and rejecting phone calls! At the start of your Jabra FREEWAY experience, the device will discuss with you setup and pairing then it will begin announcing who is calling, ask if you would like to accept or reject their call, update you with battery level and what your connection status is. Here is what I really think is awesome, though. If you are a businessman or carry two phones for any reason (or perhaps your wife, like me, does not feel like answering her phone in the passenger seat as she has to take care of the crazy kiddos in the back,) you can pair TWO separate phones at the same time! The Jabra FREEWAY device will even turn itself on and off automatically when you get in and out of the car so you do not have to worry about messing with any buttons.

Of course, there are button controls that you can use if needed to turn the device off or on manually or adjust the volume settings or put the device on mute. Jabra FREEWAY even has a USB port to charge your phone as Bluetooth can take up much of your batter power if you do not keep it charged. You can also charge the device when needed using the cigarette lighter or in your home or hotel room using your PC. With Jabra FREEWAY you will get up to 14 hours of talk time and 40 days of standby time. The device is 99x120x19 mm and is easily mounted on your sun visor to keep the device from obstructing your view which is just one more way to stay safe on the road!

A few other neat features that the Jabra FREEWAY Bluetooth Wireless In-Car Speakerphone has are that you can adjust the language settings if needed using language download packs at www.Jabra.com as well as install firmware updates. You are also able to connect your device to your car's radio so you can listen to both your music and calls through your car's stereo. My favorite is that you can even stream music, listen to podcasts and hear turn-by-turn directions wifi-lessly from your phone using A20P! This feature is one I am sure my husband will enjoy for greater sound quality.

Through May 9th, Jabra is hosting a contest on Pinterest! First prize is $500 and a Jabra FREEWAY and second is a Jabra SOLEMATE. Find out the contest details here on their Facebook app.
