Annie Chun's Roasted Seaweed Snacks

Have you ever tried seaweed? Most people don't even want to give seaweed a chance, but it is so healthy and tasty! I recently had the opportunity to sample Annie Chun's Roasted Seaweed Snacks which come in two flavors: sesame and wasabi. Now, I've only had seaweed on sushi or in miso soup prior to sampling these so I wasn't sure what I'd think about seaweed as a snack. I'm so glad I was able to try it though, because now I (and my one-year-old) are completely addicted. My son will actually choose these snacks over cookies! He just can't get enough! Annie Chun's Roasted Seaweed Snacks are like chips; they are crunchy then melt in your mouth. They are perfectly salty, yet low in sodium! My favorite flavor is sesame (that's my son's favorite too as he's too young for the wasabi flavor.) I do like the wasabi flavor as well, but this flavor is a bit spicy for a family snack unless you have older kids and you can't eat as many as quickly (which is good if you otherwise cannot hold yourself to one serving size like me.) My husband, little cousin, aunt and grandma tried these as well. In general, they do not  like seaweed, so I was not able to convert all of them, however some had previously tried other brands of roasted seaweed snacks and they said the Annie Chun's brand is far better and they actually didn't mind the flavor. My aunt actually loved the wasabi flavor and I was able to leave some extra samples for her! What flavor would you be interested in trying? Have you tried these already? If so, please post your reviewin the comments. The flavor I'm hoping they come out with soon is miso soup flavor. If you have any other ideas too, post below so they can see!
These seaweed snacks are great by themselves or you can crumple them over rice, into soup, dip in soy sauce or other dips...the list goes on! The only thing is that they do get stale quickly if left out in an opened package as they are very thin, so you have to eat them fairly quickly (which isn't a problem considering how very tasty they are!)

Swiffer® 360° Duster

If you have ever tried a Swiffer® Duster, you know that they are awesome. When I was at college, I would use them all the time because it was easy and they actually pick up the dust instead of throwing it around the room (this is very important to me considering I, as many others, am allergic to dust.) Now that Swiffer® has come out with the Swiffer® 360° duster, I am so excited! It is just like their older dusters but better because the duster goes all the way around the wand! Now I can dust both sides of the blinds at once, dust under things without scrapping the plastic handle on it, and I don't have to hold the duster a certain way (I tend to flip it over for no reason lol.) I also like that it is disposable. Although disposable dusters like the Swiffer® 360° duster cost more, if you have bad allergies like me it is well worth the extra cost. You can simply throw away the allergen and not have to go outside and knock it out, finding yourself suffocating in a clowd of the dust you just tried to clean up. Swiffer® also leaves no dust behind which means cleaner surfaces and no having to go back and clean up after you just cleaned.

Kashi® TLC® Peanutty Dark Chocolate Layered Granola Bar

Kashi® TLC® Peanutty Dark Chocolate Layered Granola Bars are great; they are healthy AND yummy! These granola bars have 7 whole grains, 7 grams of fiber, 4 grams of protein, and contain no artificial preservatives. These tasty treats are made with granola, peanuts, peanut butter, and rich dark chocolate with fruit mixed in! I am already a fan of any peanut butter and chocolate combination, but these were seriously awesome! These bars are chewy yet crunchy and sweet like dessert (just like a good granola bar should be.) If you are planning an "eat healthier" New Years resolution, start with Kashi® products like the Kashi® TLC® Peanutty Dark Chocolate Layered Granola Bars and you can be healthier without sacrificing taste! These granola bars make great snacks and are so sweet they can replace dessert. My 1-year-old tried some and he just loved it! I was surprised when he scarfed down half of a bar all by himself! I was able to sample these with some moms and their children thanks to Green Moms Meet and Kashi® and my moms loved them too and gave them great reviews! Even the teenager present thought they were great and she would bring them to school for lunch (she even mentioned that her younger brother would love them.) Had they known better, my samplers wouldn't have guessed this treat was actually healthy! Although retail price is more than I personally would pay for a snack bar, you can find these on sale all the time and there is generally no shortage of coupons that you can find on the Kashi® Facebook page or website to make these delicious treats affordable. Kashi® is a family-friendly company that seeks to provide wholesome, tasty, family (and kid-) friendly food such as these granola bars!

Renuzit® Fresh Accents

I am so excited for the new Renuzit® Holiday Fresh Accents! Not only do they smell good, but they look good too! Renuzit® Fresh Accents come in two scents, Winter Berry and Festive Snow. Both scents smell amazing! They even come in the prettiest little metal snowflake containers! These are perfect for decorating for Christmas time and setting the Christmas mood. Personally, the scents "spoke" to me. Sometimes you can just tell which room the scent will be perfect in! When I smelled Winter Berry, all I could think of is the smell of holiday desserts. Mmmm. It just sparks your appetite! I decided that this will go perfectly in the kitchen/living room area! Winter Berry just has that comforting Christmas smell to it! On the other hand, Festive Snow was too strong smelling to put in the kitchen and I don't think the smell will mix well with the scents of any food you are preparing in the kitchen. I also did not find it fitting for our bedroom, but I do think it is perfect for the bathroom or living area! Festive Snow smells a little bit like decorative soap you would put in a bathroom, I think that is why I can see it fitting in there, but I'm not saying it smells bad! No, it smells very good! Bathrooms aren't all bad and smelly lol. I can see Festive Snow being the perfect fragrance to compliment a warm, winter-time, candlelit bath. Now, I may be in a little bit of an overly "romantic"mindset with the bath idea, but if you really need relaxation, that's the way to go! And Festive Snow is a very relaxing scent. If you like fresh-cut Christmas trees, this will be perfect in any room with a Christmas tree too, especially if Christmas tree costs this year have forced you to go with an artificial tree. Though the scent is strong, it is not over-powering, and in spite of my terrible allergies, I can handle it pretty well and I quite enjoy the aroma. You can smell these for yourself before you buy, as all packages have a "scratch-and-sniff" sticker on them! No need to go home and feel you picked the wrong scent!

SLEEP NUMBER®

Today I went to a SLEEP NUMBER® store and was able to get my sleep number! I found out that my sleep number is 30 on a scale of 0 to 100 (100 being the firmest setting.) I also found out that fixing your sleep number really does help to relieve pressure on your lower back and other areas where excess pressure causes discomfort. I never used to think it made much of a difference; most of the beds I have had/slept on though were too firm or too soft. The difference was incredible!
